Grapefruit
The Morrison Seedless Grapefruit, which is the variety we grow here on in our orchard, was cultivated by John Morrison around 1861, from a cutting given to him by Governor Sir George Grey from his home orchard on Kawau Island.

This New Zealand Grapefruit, also known as 'Poorman's Orange' is slightly sweeter, and more orange coloured than the 'true' Grapefruit, which does not grow well in NZ (as it is too cold).
