Grapefruit
The Morrison Seedless is the only grapefruit variety we grow. We have around 50 mature trees and this special fruit is part of our heritage program.
Mandarins
We don't grow a lot of mandarins, but we do have two different types - the Satsuma and the Clementine.
Oranges
Carter's Naval Orange is our classic winter orange and makes up the bulk of our orange orchard. In addition, we do grow two varieties of summer oranges, in small quantities.
Tangelos
The size of an orange, with the easy peel skin of a mandarin, these sweet cousins (widely considered to be a tangerine / pomelo cross) deserve a section of their own.
Lemons
We love our lemons. From the Meyer - widely grown in back yards across NZ - to the 'true' lemons, including our fledgling crop of heritage lemons.
Other Citrus
We don't generally grow limes for commercial purposes, however this is an area we will expand in future. We are trialling Tahitian limes for fruit, Kaffir limes for leaves and a few experimental varieties for fun.
With the Morrison Seedless Grapefruit the cornerstone of our citrus orchard, and citrus being a key winter producer, two of our six orchard blocks are largely dedicated to this type of fruit.
